Welcome to the Teacup website!

The end of 2011 has come to a close and with it twenty years of Teacup presence on Queen Anne. Sadly, our Queen Anne storefront is now permanently closed. We are currently undergoing a week-long transition period in which we are preparing to re-launch our mail order business.

It's taking longer than we expected to get up and running again, and we're sorry for the wait. There have been technical difficulties with both website and phone service, and we've been scrambling to get more tea in after the rush on the shop by the Teacup faithful at the close of 2011. Thank you all for your patience, and for your avid patronage!

Shipment of mail orders will resume soon, hopefully by Wednesday, January 25. We have recorded all the orders placed by phone or on the website, and we'll give priority to older orders first as we clear our backlog. For those with existing customer accounts and gift cards, all credit held by the Teacup will be redeemable for online and telephone purchases.

Again, thank you for your understanding and patience during this transition. We look forward to serving you in the new year and beyond!
